In 2002, Performance Fuel® began as a small retail store offering sports nutrition supplements. We had a 900 square foot store front with wall to wall supplements geared primarily toward the fitness and bodybuilding market.
Today, we have grown into a retailer and distributor of sports nutrition supplements and products geared to both the endurance and fitness consumer. Our retail store has grown from 900 square feet to 2500 square feet of space with plenty of popular sports nutrition supplements from today’s top brands. We also have a full service smoothie café offering delicious fruit smoothies and protein shakes.
In 2008, Founder and CEO, Donnie Gardner recognized a need to bridge the gap between clients who were seeking to maintain a healthy lifestyle and those who were doing extensive endurance and/or strength training. Performance Fuel®’s private line of products was created to serve this niche market. After working with athletes for over 20 years, and serving more thousands of customers, we’ve come up with a superior blend of endurance and muscle building supplements.
Not only do we service our local market but Performance Fuel® is becoming a nationally known retailer of endurance and muscle building products. Due to our ability to develop strong alliances with several manufacturers we have taken the opportunity to expand into distribution. Performance Fuel® Distribution services retail stores across the East Coast with endurance supplements and products from well respected brands including Hammer Nutrition and Sportlegs. Our warehouse works closely with retailers to ensure that their orders are processed and shipped quickly to their destination.
